 Post subject: Regarding Noob Specialist Gun Game Server

I have been getting the server going the last few days and trying to populate it.

There are a few problems that need to be fixed, changed, and added.

1.) The GunGame maps that are currently on there (some) are to big, and need to be removed. People dont want to wait 5 minutes downloading a map.
2.) Zblock should be added.
3.) No block added if it isn't.
4.) Longer rounds. 24 isn't enough and people blow through that like a cracked out hooker on a penis. Should be bumped to about 50 (Thats what MOST servers use)
5.) The follow maps are great, and most people enjoy them that the server has a played;

Map List that should be kept. Others need to take into consideration about possibly being removed.

trainyard
annular
ruby b1 (maybe)
asdf tiki tiki

*NOTE* These are the only maps that I have played that I believe should be kept. Not to big, and not to small. People enjoy them. Also, I will update the map list that should be on there that should be kept. Those that are not listed should be revised and taken into consideration of possibly being deleted. I will also go to other popular gungame servers and request their map rotation to see how, and what maps are the most popular, people enjoy, and "geek" out over to play.

Everything else is running smoothly, and I will keep you informed.

1- There aren't that many large maps at all. There's actually only one or two that are larger than 15mb. I think this is reasonable.
2- Why zBlock?
3- It is.
4- Please explain more clearly what you mean. It takes 2 kills to level up, with the exception of Knife/nade. There are only 2 guns that aren't in the weapon rotation (auto-snipers), how could it possibly be longer? maybe switching sides after the first round...

There are plenty of maps that need to go, i just haven't gotten around to taking them off yet. I want to see how they play with a decent-sized group before I do, though.

Just remember that I'm keeping a limit of quality on what maps are put on the server. I'll give some test runs to be sure, but if it's shit, it's gone. You couldn't have checked out all of the maps yet, I put about 35 customs on there the first day, so unless you went through every single map already with people. I emplore you to try that.

Thanks for the comments, issues brought up now are ones that you won't have to live with.

If you don't already have it enabled, set up http downloading from an external source.
